Since the holocaust wiped out most living things, a new population has evolved entirely from sheep, many of whom are named Dolly. The devious Daynik and his sidekicks in the Ovine Office control the sheeple by manipulation of the media and, apart from the odd Dolly murder, the country runs quite smoothly.However, a storm is brewing since the release of a new novel called Fifty Blades of Hay, and the Dollys are getting ideas above their station! Also, another problem is brewing and it won't go away. One of their own members is daring to stand up to the Prime Muttoneer and, as well as campaigning to legalise grass, is beginning to uncover a few cover-ups. Where is this Scout-land where grass grows in meadows? Can Archie Woventight, our sheep-hero, avoid the Clone-hacking scandal and find the Sheep Nationalist Party?Will Alex-a-man get his independence?
