Art college graduate Audrey Brooks thinks she has her life figured out. Degree, check. Job, check. Boyfriend, check. Until she meets Falon Cooper, a tall, dark, and handsome New York art connoisseur she feels desperately attracted to. She begins having flashbacks and blackouts related to Falon, and she can’t shake the feeling that she’s met him before. She just can’t imagine how. A way into the past opens up for Falon and Audrey, and they begin their forays into the unknown in the form of nightly excursions into bygone eras. There is danger attached to these expeditions, as it gets more and more difficult to get back to the present. Strange things occur that cause Audrey to wonder if she can trust Falon. He becomes a darker more dangerous man the further they go back in time. As they delve deeper and deeper into the past they find themselves slipping dangerously into uncharted territory, taking them both back to a 1940’s murder they’re intimately connected with.
