Prologue
Everyone once in a while, heroic people stand up to other people who commit unkind deeds and then cover them up. Such is the case of two families in India who persisted for almost 20 years to make the head of the state police accountable for the molestation, harassment, and suicide of a 14 year-old girl. This article describes the deeds and cover-ups that the head of the police committed and the persistence of good people in India. This article also shows how to apply the theory of OBS (On Being a Shit) to particular cases.
