Prologue
After being fired from his job, Evan Dalton decides to take his dad up on an offer to join him, his stepmother, and his twin sisters for the summer at the family beach house. Uncertain about his future as well as staying the whole summer with his father, Evan meets August. August was hired as a nanny to look after Evan’s twin sisters, Lucy and Lana, for the summer. She saw the job as a nice change of scenery and a means to escape her unsettled future. Before long, they both realize that a simple summer romance has turned into something much more; however, with the end of summer fast approaching, Evan finds out August’s fate…will it last?
