Prologue

Quite by accident, Nathaniel meets Rachel, recent winner of the largest Powerball jackpot in history. What begins as an innocent visit quickly grows faster than either may be ready for. She's young, innocent. He's over the hill, rough around trhe edges. And yet, she's drawn to his lifestyle of whips, chains, and vast amounts of cold cash. Nathaniel introduces her to The Silo and the Second Floor, where things are going...well. Everything is going well, in fact, until he takes Rachel on an extended tour of The Silo and the 15th floor, where he makes a shocking discovery. Fortunatly, Rachel is able to reach out and stabilize his erratic actions. Upon reflecting on her, and her hobby for flying, leads Nathaniel to marvel at THOSE MAGNIFICENT WOMEN AND THEIR FLYING MACHINES
