At least 30 hours of this work must be taken in residence at The American University.A candidate for the Certificate in Public Administration must have taken and passed the following basic courses or their equivalent Principles of Economics; English Composition; American Govern ment; State and Local Government; Elementary Statistics; Ele mentary Accounting.
