That Stupid Night

When Danica spots her boyfriend, Tristan, with his arm around an old lover, she convinces herself that he’s cheating on her. Her anger intensifies when she goes to a party that night, and after too much to drink and a huge fight with Tristan, she goes home with Damien. She regrets her actions the same evening and has no intention of seeing her handsome new lover again. However, Damien has an ego and isn’t about to ride into the sunset like one-night-stands usually do. When he can’t persuade Danica to keep sleeping with him, he develops a revenge plan. When she subsequently sees what he’s shared online with her friends and family, she’s shattered. Her friends and family are outraged when they receive Damien’s degrading ‘creation’ and want justice. But Danica refuses to contact the police, because that would mean showing Damien’s handiwork to even more people and feeling humiliated all over again. When it becomes obvious that all she wants to do is hide, her friends and family take things into their own hands by turning the tables on Damien and launching an on-line revenge plan against him. When his identity and behaviour are subsequently exposed to the world, his life is thrown into chaos and he becomes dangerous and desperate. He’s filled with even more hate than the time Danica rejected him and needs revenge again – but it might not be from a distance this time.
