Prologue
A collection of cartoons by Sam Gross, previously published in The New Yorker, National Lampoon, Cavalier, and numerous other magazines. Many are sensitive to the times in which published; many are very funny; many would fail the test of 'political correctness' prevalent today. The title comes from a parody of the six blind men and the elephant in which the men are feeling the elephants parts and declaring it to be like a tree or like a snake, etc. One blind man is a short distance away and has his hands on a pile of dung and he proclaims that an elephant is soft and mushy.
