Olivier Roy est politologue, spécialiste de l’islam, auteur de nombreux essais au Seuil, dont L’Islam mondialisé (2002 et « Points Essais », 2004), La Sainte Ignorance. Le temps de la religion sans culture (2008 et « Points Essais », 2012) et L’Europe est-elle chrétienne ? (2019). Il enseigne à l’Institut universitaire européen (IUE) de Florence.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Worth the time and money.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.
