Overview: Book 7 in Mid NFW Mayhem series.CEO of Saurus Semiconductor, Quip Saurus had everything successful males wanted. That is, he had blue blood (dragon and dinosaur that is), billions of dollars, and three Ph.D.’s: one in Physics, one in Civil Engineering, and one in Motherfuckerishness. He was a bastard and he didn’t try and hide the fact. There was no need to because no one in their right mind was about to challenge him. Well, challenged him and lived that is. After all he wasn’t just any shifter; he was ¾ Giganotosaurus Prime & ¼ Prima Dragon and one hundred percent bad MFing Apex Predator. Enter Intrigue Constantine. Intrigue was the only one of a handful of humans allowed to step foot in Saurus Semiconductor, and the only anyone who’d ever given him “what for” Of course, she’d given him “what for” after she’d come to his rescue and “helped” him stave off yet another assassination attempt. How could he not like the feisty intern even more after such a display of loyalty? Of course, she’d tried to quit—everyday—but he simply couldn’t allow that being no one else amused him the way Intrigue did. Something about the way she cussed him out with their eyes and called him a crotchety old bastard under her breath just got to him. And if he was right, it’d get to his nephew too. One half Super T-Rex, one-quarter Prima Dragon, and one-quarter Giganotosaurus Prime, Raptor Állos was described as “an asshole, motherfucker, son-of-a-bitch, bastard, shithead, prick squared…to the infinite power…every, single day.” And that was by his friends. Quip didn’t mind his nephew’s attitude; in fact, he encouraged it. What he did mind was his nephew’s gloating about beating him in poker. That was not only unacceptable; that required immediate revenge. Raptor might’ve beat him in poker but Quip had one trump card up his sleeve: Intrigue. Despite being an Alpha Predator of royal bloodlines, Raptor wasn’t ready for the badass woman who was just as badass as he was. Even if he thought he could get a handle on Intrigue (he couldn’t), there was no way he could ever get a handle on Intrigues mommas—the Ninja Nuns—or the residents of Mid NFW who did specialized in slobberknockers, getting even, and did crazy like nobody’s business.This was going to be so good, Quip thought as he sat back and watched the chaos unfold.

Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
