Overview: Having amassed more books than he'll ever be able to read in his lifetime, Paul Cuddihy decided at the start of 2013 that he would actually start reading some of them. He had fallen out of the habit of reading - though not of book buying - and he wanted to change that. So throughout 2013 he made a conscious decision to switch off his television set and go and do something less boring instead - read a book. Paul Cuddihy writes contemporary fiction and has always been fascinated by character-driven stories. They hold a degree in English Literature and previously worked as an editor before transitioning to writing their own books. Paul Cuddihy lives with their spouse and a very vocal rescue cat.

A solid read. Interesting premise and executed fairly well. Just a few slow chapters here and there. Enjoyable weekend read.

Really enjoyed this one. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Glad I picked this up.

Not bad, but not my favorite. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Just right down the middle.
