Perché se gli abitanti extracomunitari del quartiere hanno comportamenti che possono stupire, bisogna ammettere che anche i comportamenti degli abitanti autoctoni reggono al confronto. La qualità migliore dello sguardo di Vetri (e della sua scrittura) è, a mio avviso, la sua finta oggettività. Vetri infatti sembra non commentare, non giudicare, non intromettersi. Pare voglia raccontare le cose come stanno senza alcuna interferenza. In realtà l’angolazione dello sguardo incantato di Vetri fa sì che il non giudizio non significhi estraneità, anzi.

Such a great read. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Glad I picked this up.

Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.
