Overview: Saksa tankitõrjeväelase päevikud idarindelt 1941–1943 Neid päevikuid pidas Saksa sõdur, kes osales operatsioonis Barbarossa ja sellele järgnevates lahingutes idarindel, ja neis avaneb erakordselt vahetu pilt Vene-Saksa võitlusest. Hans Roth kuulus 299. jalaväedivisjoni tankitõrjepataljoni, mis Venemaale tungimise ajal liideti Walther Reichenau 6. armeega. Kirjeldades enda ees avanevaid sündmusi, annab ta edasi ootusärevust ja pingeid ajast, kui sakslased ületasid 1941. aasta juunis Nõukogude Liidu piiri. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Will be looking for more from this author.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.
