Overview: The Little Silkworm tells the story of a brave young silkworm who, after weaving his very first silken cloth, sets out on a journey to deliver his silken cloth to an unknown, but ultimately kind, nest keeper. While on his quest, he encounters the voices of procrastination (in the form of a lethargic snail), fear (in the form of a faint-hearted ant), and doubt (in the form of a suspicious woodpecker). Ultimately, our little silkworm hero finds the courage to pursue what he knows is in his heart. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Worth the time and money.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
