Overview: This is not a book - it is a screenplay. Totally different. When retired Commander Kieron Philips finds a passenger sitting dead in his seat as everyone disembarks the plane, he calls the flight attendant and makes no fuss. He thinks nothing of it. He survived Ireland, Iraq and covert missions but now misses an unexpected bullet when a woman he spent just a few flirty moments with at baggage collection is arrested at customs in South America with millions of dollars. Within minutes he's sharing a taxi to a cruise ship with two other women and his life is about to change forever. Within hours they're at sea, and he's embroiled in a saga of which he has no knowledge. His cabin is searched by a stowaway gunman, who is intercepted and arrested by Senior Officer Hunter Witowski, head of security, who suspects Philips knows that there is more to all this. Philips starts to wonder if his being on this cruise, at this time, was an accident, or whether someone saw his military skills and put him in the right place at the right time. He can't trust anyone on the ship, and no crazy amount of money is worth either his life or the life of his show-dancer daughter whom he travelled this far to visit. Except she is not his daughter and she arranged the trip.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Still a good book.

Finished it in a couple of days. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Good, but not quite perfect. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. A solid 4 stars from me.

Really enjoyed this one. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Would probably read it again at some point.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Enjoyable weekend read.
