Overview: Sinopsis novel “Catatan Pelajar Jakarta” Novel ini bercerita tentang empat orang sahabat yang dahulunya bersekolah di SMP yang sama, yaitu SMP Muhammadiyah 33 Tomang. Setelah lulus dari SMP, ke empat sahabat ini bersekolah disekolah yang berbeda. Agus dan Setyo memilih bersekolah di STM PGRI 6 atau dikenal “Camp Java ”, Lutfi masuk STM PGRI 5 atau “BOEDOET” dan Chandra bersekolah di STM 7 PGRI atau dikenal dengan nama “1DKI”.Sekolah Agus, Setyo, Chandra dan Lutfi saling bermusuhan. Walau sekolah mereka saling bermusuhan tapi diantara mereka tetap bersahabat dan saling melindungi satu sama lain. Persahabatan yang sudah mereka bina selama SMP terus berlanjut sampai di STM walau sekolah mereka saling bermusuhan.Memasuki tahun ketiga, persoalan yang mereka hadapi semakin sulit dan berbahaya. Tawuran yang berkali – kali terjadi di antara sekolah mereka makin memupuk benci dan dendam. Tapi ke empat sahabat ini tetap saling melindungi dan enggan untuk saling serang walau pun mereka ketika berangkat atau pun pulang sekolah sering bertemu di jalur. Persahabat yang mereka bina mampu mengalahkan ego di antara mereka yang tetap yakin bahwa sekolah mereka lah yang paling berani dan jagoan dalam tawuran. Ke empat sahabat ini tetap dengan janji bahwa persahabatan ini akan tetap lekang sepanjang masa. Suatu ketika Chandra bersama teman – teman sekolahnya menyerang tempat di mana sekolah Agus menunggu bis untuk pulang sekolah. Tawuran yang melibatkan ratusan pelajar membuat korban pun berjatuhan. Chandra pun menjadi korban tawuran dan hampir mati jika tidak di selamatkan oleh Agus. Chandra berhutang nyawa kepada Agus, karena itu ia bersumpah di dalam hatinya untuk membayarnya dan berencana membalas kematian Agus.Suatu ketika Agus meninggal dalam tawuran berdarah. Chandra lalu bersiasat dengan Setyo dan Lutfi untuk membalas dendam atas kematian Agus. Rencana berjalan mulus, salah satu pembunuh Agus terbunuh oleh Chandra dalam serangan tiba - tiba. Karena terdengar isu bahwa pelaku pembunuh tersebut telah di ketahui oleh polisi Chandra lalu berinisiatif untuk lari dari rumah Untuk menyelamatkan kedua sahabatnya, Setyo dan Lutfi. Berselang beberapa bulan, Lutfi tersandung hukum karena terlibat dalam penodongan dan penusukan di sebuah bis umum. Lutfi pun keluar dan memilih sekolah di Malang dan meninggalkan semua kebanggaan semunya terhadap sekolah dan basisnya.Setyo yang mengalami kebimbangan dan keraguan melangkah sendiri tanpa sahabatnya dan akhirnya membuat Setyo tak punya pilihan lain kecuali kembali kepada basis di mana teman – temannya berada. Janjinya kepada Lutfi untuk tidak terlibat lagi dengan tawuran akhirnya tandas. Setyo dipaksa menyerah oleh keadaan. Beberapa minggu menjelang ujian ebta/ebtanas diwaktu jam pulang sekolah. Setyo dan teman – temannya bertemu dengan musuh bebuyutan sekolahnya dan akhirnya tawuran pun pecah.Di tengah tawuran yang sedang berkecamuk antara sekolah Setyo dan sekolah musuhnya, tiba – tiba dari arah kota dua buah bis menurunkan ratusan pelajar yang juga musuh sekolah Setyo dan langsung menyerang mereka dari belakang.Dalam keadaan terdesak, Setyo terkepung dan terjatuh terkena bacokan musuh. Kiki yang ingin menyelamatkan Setyo akhirnya ikut terkepung. Teman – teman sekolah Setyo berlarian dan kabur meninggalkan Setyo dan Kiki kecuali Fredy yang masih melawan.Ibu Setyo yang cemas karena jam sudah menunjukkan pukul delapan malam sedangkan Setyo dan Kiki juga belum pulang akhirnya menyadari kenyataan pahit ketika Fredy datang kepadanya membawa dua kado yang berdarah dan satu kabar duka
