Overview: Postmoderno, postmetafísico, posthumano, post mortem. El mundo «post» es un mundo que crece por encima de sus fronteras, que se excede más allá de los límites de la geografía moderna. En este contexto, el posthumanismo, como un derivado de la teoría crítica de corte antihumanista, mueve el flujo conceptual por encima de los bordes establecidos, definiendo nuevos mapas de referencia y nuevos territorios de pensamiento en torno a las nociones de lo Humano y de la Subjetividad. El posthumanismo, o el éxodo antropológico radical, es un proceso en que el ser humano finalmente se sale de todas las categorías sociales, históricas, biológicas, antropológicas, filosóficas, etc, que habían hecho de él un Sujeto. En sintonía con el ecologismo, el feminismo, el postcolonialismo, etc), el posthumanismo se propone acabar con el mundo centrado en el Sujeto y lidera la producción de las nuevas subjetividades nómades. Así, el Sujeto es obligado al exilio, a la autoexpulsión de su propio territorio. Y a lo mejor, lo que resulta tan insoportable de nuestro tiempo es la ausencia de límites, la confusión de las formas, la incertidumbre de los discursos, la imposibilidad del lenguaje, el nomadismo en todos los órdenes. Y ahí es donde yace el poder ordenador del límite. La Subjetividad entendida como límite es la barrera inmunológica que nos protege contra la amenaza virulenta de la tecnología, la intervención del Estado, la contaminación de la ideología, la virulencia del pensamiento único, la homogeneización ontológica del posthumanismo. La Subjetividad es, en suma, la conciencia de los límites que nos devuelve la autonomía y la libertad.

It was okay. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. A solid 4 stars from me.
