Discover Neuroeconomics: an Applied Information Theory by Daniel R. Thorne. Start reading today and explore ideas, insights, and experiences that stay with you.

Overview: Over the last 30 years, advances in our technology and in our understanding of the scientific disciplines which those technologies enable have allowed humanity to glimpse the inner workings of some of our most astounding capacities, and have revealed, to even a casual glance, the staggering complexity of even our most casual functions. This progress means that the very nature of psychology is evolving, and with these discoveries have come both new questions and new opportunities to revisit some of the oldest: “What are we made of?”, “How do we work?”, “What makes us tick?”A large number of the currently held explanations for some of these most central psychological questions are beginning to crumble under the weight of new evidence, and greater and greater proportions of our ever-growing knowledge remain unaccounted for and unexplained.Neuroeconomics is the culmination of more than four years of independent research in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, physiology, primatology, biology, and chemistry, and it follows in a long tradition of works that have faced similar problems by introducing a new theory that can comprehensively resolve this central academic dilemma.A free ebook copy of this book is available at www.dthornebooks.com

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Worth the time and money.

Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Not bad at all.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. A solid 5/5 for me.

Finished it in a couple of days. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Glad I picked this up.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Still a good book.
