Overview: Fysica voor de medische beeldvorming is een deel uit de serie leerboeken voor radiologisch laboranten. Na de behandeling van belangrijke begrippen uit de atoom- en kernfysica, komen de wisselwerkingsprocessen, het kwantificeren van de stralingsdosis (dosimetrie) en het verschijnsel radioactiviteit aan de orde. In het laatste hoofdstuk wordt de toepassing van zware deeltjes voor radiotherapie beschreven.Fysica voor de medische beeldvorming is behalve voor radiologisch laboranten in opleiding ook bij uitstek geschikt voor hen die reeds de (initiële) opleiding hebben afgesloten. Het niveau van de inhoud van dit boek komt overeen met het niveau stralingsveiligheid 4A, waarvan de kaders in de Kernenergiewet zijn weergegeven. Dientengevolge vormt het boek ook een goede introductie voor hen die zich willen voorbereiden op de opleiding stralingsveiligheid niveau 4B en 3, zoals medisch nucleair werkers, al dan niet in opleiding, radiodiagnosten, nucleair geneeskundigen, klinisch fysici, biologen, biochemici en apothekers.

Finished it in a couple of days. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.
