Overview: “Tuyệt duyên” là tuyển tập gồm chín truyện ngắn đương đại của các tác giả trẻ tiêu biểu ở châu Á, trải dài qua Nhật Bản, Trung Quốc, Hàn Quốc, Thái Lan, Singapore... Chín câu chuyện mang đến chín góc nhìn văn hóa từ các vùng miền khác nhau trên khắp châu Á, mỗi tác phẩm lại có kiến giải riêng về hai chữ “Tuyệt duyên”. Từ những đứa trẻ ngây ngô ngập ngừng ngưỡng cửa dậy thì, những thanh niên bức xúc thời cuộc, những người mẹ, người vợ nặng mang nỗi niềm sâu kín... cho đến những vết hằn trong tâm trí, xung đột thế hệ, bất công trong xã hội, định kiến về chủng tộc, loạn ly vì chiến tranh v.v.. Tất cả là tác nhân cho những “tuyệt duyên”, cũng như bao cảm xúc bạo liệt bộc phát. Đặt trong từng bối cảnh đa dạng, xứ nắng xứ mưa, xứ mơ xứ thực, xứ yên xứ loạn, mỗi câu chuyện là một bức tranh dữ dội có, dịu êm cũng có, thẳng thừng giãi bày mọi khổ đau, giằng xé, uất nghẹn trong thẳm sâu tâm hồn. Tất thảy nhập nhằng vần xoay, tâm lý con người như chưa bao giờ được lột tả trần trụi đến thế. Từng cây bút trẻ mà đầy nội lực của châu Á đã cất lên một tiếng nói đồng lòng, về cách mà con người đối diện với quá khứ, hiện tại, tương lai, với bước ngoặt của số phận. It was okay. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.
