Overview: 403 a.C., la sconfitta di Atene nella Guerra del Peloponneso comporta una conseguenza tragica per la città: la fine della democrazia. Vincent Azoulay e Paulin Ismard, due tra i piú autorevoli classicisti contemporanei, ricostruiscono nel dettaglio, con passo da narratori e occhio da storici, questa turbolenta serie di eventi. Took me a few chapters to get into it, but it was worth it. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.

An average read for me. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
