Overview: A humorous story of a sheltered young woman becoming a nudist and exhibitionist. As a twenty-something adult she shares her recollections, sharing many funny situations and serious issues.Abstracts from the There was a time when even showing my wrists seemed like the worst sin a girl could commit. I never thought I’d end up being like this now. Pleasure was a sin back then—even the little ones were things my parents quietly frowned on. Idle hands do the devil’s work, but idle hands also feel best when they stroke your skin teasingly. Still, I didn’t become like this overnight. Before I learned the pleasure of baring it all to the world, before I was regularly walking around without a scrap to hide me from the world, before I was falling into threesomes and sharing my apple pie with everyone, I was the quietest little girl you ever did see. That’s why I decided to write this, mind you. I know you’re there, shaking at the thought of letting go—the freedom tantalizing, but also frightening. Do you know what it feels like to have the wind tickle your nipples with no fabric in the way, to feel the sun on your most tender, intimate skin? To watch Fourth of July fireworks at the lake and feel every ripple of the water splash against you as they explode? Do you know what it’s like to be able to share that with other people—both innocently and less innocently? That’s what I thought. But when it all started in my childhood, I had no idea either. Come with me. Let me tell you the story of the All-American girl who learned what freedom and liberty really mean. My good church-goin’ parents never understood the grace of this kind of freedom. There’s a different kind of godliness that comes from loving your own body and being comfortable in your own skin. I can’t bear the thought of so many people living without that sensation, so that’s why I’m writing this.I used to hide in clothes, avoid people’s eyes, their touch. Not anymore. Now I’m doing things that would shock the neighbors and the congregation, but it ain’t no sin. How? I’m a nudist. My name is Lexi, and this is my story.- - - - -We were having a great time on the cruise, but never had been comfortable wearing swimsuits. There we were on the third day, starting to get a little bored. Trish had picked up the hobby of body-painting. She was really good at it, and unless you were standing right up close, it was almost impossible to tell that the clothes she painted on a person was just paint.Fortunately, she had brought her alcohol-based paint and airbrushes with her. The right shadows, and we’d be good to go anywhere. Trish painted a top on me which looked like a blue jacket with pockets on the front, positioned in such a way so that the buttons on the pockets were my nipples. The bottoms were easy–just paint a pair of short shorts in the right place, a camel toe in the front, and you've got it made. She thought it would be fun for us to have matching outfits. She stripped off her T-shirt and shorts, doing what she could herself, partly by looking in the mirror. I had to finish the sides and the back, but it still looked pretty good. Maybe not quite as good a job as she did, but still plenty convincing. After the paint dried, we stepped out into the corridor. We were absolutely naked, but for the paint. The only things we had on were the elastic cords that held our ship credit cards on one wrist and our phones dangling from straps on the other wrist. I was beginning to think this was a bad idea. "Are we really going to do this?""Don't worry about it. I've seen people do this dozens of times. People aren't expecting to see to naked girls running around. They will look right past us; don't worry about a thing."I hoped she was right. Walking around *almost* naked and actually walking around *totally naked* were two different things.

It was just alright. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
