Kusmaryanto merupakan dosen Bioetika di Paskasarjana Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta dan Fakultas kedokteran di Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta. Aktif sebagai anggota Komisi Nasional Etik Penelitian Kesehatan (KNEPK) dan Komisi Bioetika Nasional (KBN). Mendapatkan gelar Doktor dari Universitas Gregoriana di Roma, Italia tahun 2004. Menulis banyak buku berhubungan dengan tema bioetika, beberapa di antaranya, Problem Etis Kloning Manusia (2001), Stem Sel: Sel Abadi dengan Seribu Janji Therapi (2005), Tolak Aborsi: Budaya Kehidupan versus Budaya Kematian (2005), dan lain-lain.

An average read for me. The pacing was a bit slow and I found myself skimming a few pages. It wasn't terrible, just okay. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Really enjoyed this one. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Will be looking for more from this author.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Glad I picked this up.
