Overview: A pudgy terrier named Libby has a reputation as a psychic dog because she can find lost items for the residents of the senior mobile home park where she lives with her adopted mother. What they don't know is that Libby is really Lord Percival Plep, a reincarnated English lord who died during WWI. While he is initially dismayed by his canine appearance and his gender, Percival soldiers on, enjoying treats from his Mama, and the affection of a Standard Poodle named Gigi, who is really a Canadian WWII nurse named Clair. In this new adventure, Mama is sick, and Libby must move in with Gigi and her mother, Mrs. Beebee, until Mama recovers. When another resident, a young woman named Julie who owns a shop on a wharf in St. Petersburg, offers to take Libby to the shop during the day for company, Mrs. Beebee agrees. Libby is not happy, but what is a dog to do? She goes to the shop and is soon caught up in some nefarious goings-on at the bait shop across the way. She begins to realize that something bad is going on, and when two men start following Julie, Libby decides it is up to her to find out who they are and why they are after Julie before both she and Julie come to harm. Really enjoyed this one. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Will be looking for more from this author.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Not bad at all.
