Overview: Jenna Archer is no Cinderella. No enchanted pumpkins or singing mice save her day. She’s thirty-four, single, managing her parents’ bait shop and telephony (read that: telephone museum), and sleeping in the bait shop. Plus, she’s stuck in a shallow relationship and her one potential Prince Charming just isn't her type. Any fairy godmother in her right mind would refuse the assignment. But something wondrous happens each day in the telephony. Regulars receive calls from their pasts in hopes of resolving the unfinished stuff of life. Ginny talks with her husband; Tim cajoles his younger sister; and a girl pleads with her great-grandmother for keys to her future. Despite these brushes with the mystical, Jenna’s life is shrinking. She scuttles college plans, again, when her dad moves in with his girlfriend. That leaves Jenna to take care of her mother who refuses to leave the apartment above the bait shop and telephony. She fears missing the return of Jenna’s brother, Brian. He’s been gone seventeen very long years. And then a telephone rings for Jenna. On the other end of the line is the last man to see Brian. Finding Brian is the only way Jenna will regain her life. Can Jenna convince the man to divulge something, anything, about Brian’s destiny? He isn’t much of a talker. Jenna must find the man in the present and discover what he knows about Brian’s disappearance. Otherwise, Jenna is stuck.

I have mixed feelings about this one. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Might work better for someone else, just wasn't completely for me.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.
