Overview: Začela sva oktobra 2016 in prvih nekaj mesecev sva se pogovarjala, od mene pa ni padlo še nobeno poglavje. Strinjala sva se, da to, kar počneva, ne sme biti kronološka biografija v smislu – najprej sem se rodila, potem sem šla v osnovno šolo … na akademijo ... in moja prva predstava je bila ta in ta in druga ta in … Od tu naprej pa nekako nisva vedela, kako in kaj. Potem je nekega dne omenila, da gre skoraj vsak dan na pokopališče, pa kako je te občutke, ko stoji ob grobu, ob odprtih grobovih številnih domačih in prijateljev, uporabila tudi v predstavah in jo je bilo tega skoraj sram, in je steklo. Od banalnega k pomembnemu, čeprav potem, ko sem pogovore pretipkal in uredil, največkrat nisem več vedel, kaj je tisto prvo in kaj drugo. Tretje poglavje z naslovom Kraljestvo za cigareto sva tako odprla z njenim jutrom (ki je ponavadi bolj pozno, ker ne hodi prav zgodaj spat) in ugotovila, da ga ne začne, kot je sama domnevala, s cigareto, pač pa:Najprej je kis, razredčen z vodo. Jabolčni kis, ki ga napravim sama. No, zadnja leta mu dodam še tableto za želodec, ta je zdaj nujna. S tem, da se mi je kis že drugo leto zapored pokvaril. Samo en majhen konček ga je ostal. Ta kis je delala že moja mama. Zdaj ga delam sama že dvajset let in ga absolutno nikomur ne dam, niti Maši in Dušanu. Imam ga samo zase. Z njim je veliko dela, in če se fenta, sem res žalostna. Saj bi lahko v 'štacuni' kupila domači kis, naravni kis, kakor piše, ampak to ni to, nikoli ne moreš vedeti, kaj vse je tam 'not'.In ko nama je steklo – kar je moralo biti po kakšnih šestih mesecih, se pravi tam enkrat marca ali aprila lani –, sem začel pri delu uživati. Milena je namreč, ob tem, da je izjemna igralka in izjemna ženska, tudi prav poseben človeški original. Sama bi takim rekla z enim od številnih izrazov, ki sem jih slišal prvič – prava slika brez okvirja.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

I have mixed feelings about this one. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. Probably won't read it again, but it was an okay way to pass the time.
