Overview: Xiare and Cassis ruled the Underworld with an iron fist. The demons in all Regions feared and respected them. They reconstructed the rules of Hell and laid the consequences out, all while plotting their grand exit. Well, for one of them. Xiare and Cassis went back to Hell with every intentions on being reunited with their family. But, being surrounded by evil and feeding off the sins of humans pulled Prince Cassis forward. He began to idolize Alek and lived off the word of the Devil. He ignored the positive energy from his family and the calls from Xiare. When they finally came face to face, a fight started that left Cassis to fend for himself against Alek’s real plan. The stubbornness of the two, put the family in a crisis that caused them to sacrifice more to get them back together. Xoey had never been the one to run out of ideas when it came to saving her family. The Great Grands gave them one option that she was ready to take. But with an Archangel as her mate, Zeek was willing to bring Xiare and Cassis to their death. Only if they were able to find the one person to make him whole again. Alijah had been searching for her purpose on Earth for many years. She had already been reborn twice with nothing or no one to come back to. For the last months as Alijah Blanks, she searched high and low for information about herself. But when she found the man that had the information she needed, it was going to cost her the fire and the ashes of her Phoenix to get anything out of him. She declined Hurmound and was placed back on his radar. He sent men after her and they discovered that she bonded with a powerful family that was willing to die for her. It was only right if Hurmound linked up with his neighbor to bring the family to their knees and Alijah to his cage. In the finale, choices will be made that will inflict losses for the greater good.

Really enjoyed this one. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. A solid 5/5 for me.
