Overview: Winner of the 2018 Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Poetry.H.H. Holmes committed ghastly crimes in the late 19th century. Many of which occurred within his legendary “Murder Castle” in Chicago, Illinois. He is often considered America’s first serial killer. A solid read. I liked the main character, though some of the side plots were just okay. Enjoyable weekend read.

Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Will be looking for more from this author.

A solid read. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. A solid 4 stars from me.
