Overview: This book is the first of 3 volumes about the Armanen tradition containing the best and most significant teachings, practices and rituals of the Armanen masters Guido von List, F. B. Marby, R. J. Gorsleben, S. A. Kummer and others, including material which has not previously been translated into English. Avery explains many aspects of the Armanen beliefs and practices which have not been made clear until now and also works toward the continued development of Armanism to its natural conclusions. Avery relates the esoteric significance of the Black Sun and its place in Armanism. Avery also compares Armanism to modern heathenry and presents the Armanen tradition in a practical format for modern heathens, with rituals in modern English, German and Old Norse. Volume I contains the background and beliefs of the Armanen masters. Volume II covers the exercises of the Armanen masters and the complete curriculum of the Gothic Armanen Gild. Volume III contains Armanen rituals from the early 20th century to the present.

Good, but not quite perfect. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. A solid 4 stars from me.

Glad someone recommended this to me. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Would probably read it again at some point.

A solid read. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. I'd probably recommend it to a friend.
