Overview: At present in much of the United States, terminally ill patients do not have the option to choose a dignified death. So instead of being given a shot by a physician that would allow them a quick end, some patients starve to death as the digestive tract is one of the first systems to shut down during the dying process. This starvation period can last a long time—two months in the case of my grandmother. Glad someone recommended this to me. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Will be looking for more from this author.

Good, but not quite perfect. The middle dragged a tiny bit, but the ending totally made up for it. Enjoyable weekend read.

Finished it in a couple of days. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Worth the time and money.

Finished it in a couple of days. The writing style is very engaging. It’s easy to follow but still has a lot of depth. Glad I picked this up.
