Overview: Muchos analistas quisieron ver en la emergencia de Vox una suerte de espejo de los fenómenos de extrema derecha europeos, trasladando al caso español profecías ideológicas y electorales que poco se corresponden con la realidad local. Este trabajo realizado por jóvenes investigadores ataca al punto de flotación de esta comparación burda. La extrema derecha europea, pese a ser relativamente heterogénea, comparte dos características esenciales. Por un lado, una ideología con componentes culturales y económicos que defiende un Estado de Bienestar para los nativos, y por el otro, una base electoral fundamentalmente obrera. Mediante un riguroso análisis electoral y geográfico, el hallazgo principal de este libro demuestra que Vox no comparte ninguna de estas dos características y por lo tanto no responde a las dinámicas de éxito e implantación de la extrema derecha europea. Vox es un partido ultraconservador económicamente neoliberal y, en consecuencia, su base electoral no es fundamentalmente obrera. En definitiva, no por el hecho de surgir a la derecha de la derecha va a seguir el guion de éxito e implantación obrera del Frente Nacional francés o Alternativa Por Alemania. Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Glad I picked this up.

Such a great read. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Would probably read it again at some point.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I loved how the story unfolded. It kept me guessing without being too confusing. Will be looking for more from this author.

I liked it for the most part. Writing is good, just wish there was a bit more depth in certain parts. Still kept my attention though. Still a good book.
