Overview: A Chassid, A Businessman, is the story of Zalman Deitsch, a Chassid of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who seamlessly combined these two attributes. Like most Lubavitchers, Zalman aspired to become a shliach, but the Rebbe gave him his own shlichus, in the world of commerce. He may have been a successful businessman; however, his family never heard him talk about it. In fact, one could hardly recognize him as a businessman. He always found time to study Torah, by himself, with others, and his children. With his siblings and brother-in-law, Zalman supported many of the Rebbe's institutions and activities, and kindly assisted those less fortunate than he was. Finished it in a couple of days. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

A very satisfying read. The author did a great job wrapping everything up at the end. No weird plot holes left behind. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

An average read for me. It had some good moments, but the overall plot felt a bit disjointed in the second half. Just right down the middle.
