Overview: Early in the pandemic, I posted a poem about the virus that ironically went viral and ultimately launched me into a year of writing my way through our corporate loss, lack, and longing. I shared these laments on social media under #pandemicprayersandpoetry and found they spoke deeply to our collective experience of being alive in 2020.Most of these pieces began on messy pages in my own little moleskin journal, as I attempted to process what was going on around me and in me. They are now offered here as a time capsule of sorts--a chronological journey through a year we could never forget, though we may still need help seeing with 2020 vision.It is my hope that these gifts of poetry and art help to unlock the deeper places of your own heart.

Finished it in a couple of days. It has a good balance of dialogue and description. Everything felt like it moved at the right speed. Worth the time and money.

Such a great read. The pacing was spot on and the characters felt real. I didn't find myself getting bored at any point. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.

Not bad, but not my favorite. The writing was fine, but I didn't feel very connected to the characters. They felt a bit flat. It's fine if you have nothing else to read.
