I boken Ekvilibirum visar författarna hur några av världens mest betydande framsteg har formats av personer med mer eller mindre starka drag av bipolaritet, schizofreni, autism och adhd. Ofta är det syskon och andra nära släktingar till patienter som står för nyskapandet – genom att ha mildare drag av det som kan ge en diagnos. Det som ligger bakom kreativiteten är drivet, associationsförmågan och öppenheten för det oväntade. Och det är något vi alla kan lära oss att bejaka.Simon Kyaga är psykiater och disputerade på sambandet mellan kreativitet och psykiatri vid Karolinska Institutet 2014. Samma år var han sommarpratare i P1. I have mixed feelings about this one. It felt a bit repetitive in the middle. Could have been shorter. Just right down the middle.

Honestly one of the better books I've read lately. I got really invested in the main character's journey. Everything just clicked for me. Definitely recommend it if you like this genre.
